I hand felted a mix of wool and merino wool to create this wearable orchid sculpture. The waling-waling orchid (commonly known as "Queen of the Philippine Orchid") is endemic to the Philippines and grows atop trees, reaching for the sunlight--a symbol of high aspirations for Filipinos.
